Plant life at Crow's Nest
The Crow's Nest property potentially hosts two Federally listed plants species that were documented at nearby sites with similar habitats.

Small whorled pogonia
(Isotria Medeoloides)
Endangered
Crow’s Nest also hosts two State listed species Ginseng, found on several ravines on the Peninsula and River Bulrush, found in fresh tidal marshes along Potomac Creek

Potential habitats also exist for several other state listed species monitored by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, Division of Natural Heritage.
